The NOTURA®SmartTool is a tool designed to enhance process control and efficiency in tablet production. It enables scalable compression parameters, which is particularly important in an R&D environment. Even at low production volumes, the tool ensures a consistent and smooth tableting process without the need for empty stations in the rotor and reduces the risk of damaged punch heads due to inconsistent rotation of the compression rollers.

By supporting predictive maintenance and reducing unplanned downtime, the SmartTool contributes increased reliability, and more efficient high-speed manufacturing.

NOTTER direct segments are exceptionally corrosion-resistant and, therefore, easy to clean in a very short amount of time. To minimize abrasive wear and sticking of adhesive material and to maximize the service life, the segments are fully hardened and provided with an optional functional coating.

NOTTER segments can be reused multiple times: After intensive use, worn holes can be enlarged by us to a larger diameter for the next life cycle or modified in shape and then reused by you. This reduces the number of new purchases, saves resources and makes a significant contribution to sustainable production.

The TTS (Tableting Tool Scanner) by NOTTER is a pioneering laser measurement system that can be used to quickly and easily determine both the exact debossing dimension (functional length) and the overall length of the tool in a single measuring process. The TTS only needs a third of the time required for manual measurement.

At the same time, the TTM (Tableting Tool Manager) – the system's powerful measurement and management software – provides important additional information, such as the operating time, failures or repairs of the respective tool, as well as enabling the incorporation of resource management for presses, turrets and even whole rooms.
