Product range – Strobl Pumpen

Chemical slurry pump - Series CSP

The CSP series of chemical slurry pumps are special single-stage, normal-primed centrifugal pumps designed for use in the chemical, petrochemical, and general industrial sectors. They are characterized by standardized dimensions based on ISO 2858. Our series covers the full spectrum, ranging from simple basic models to variants compliant with ISO 5199 and those based on API 610-OH1. The scope of supply ranges from individual pumps with free shaft ends to fully developed, highly integrated complete systems.

The primary application of chemical sewage pumps is the pumping of a wide variety of contaminated or solids-laden liquids generated in process engineering plants. Due to the available material options, our pumps are ideally suited for pumping aggressive or abrasive liquids. Contaminated acids, bases, or slightly viscous media can also be handled by these pumps.

  • Conveying of process liquids

  • Production of biofuels

  • Chemical recycling of plastic waste

  • Industry and plant engineering

  • Circulation of liquids

  • Rafinery and offshore applications

The use of vortex impellers or channel impellers, as used in wastewater technology, makes this pump ideal for handling demanding fluids. Crystalline, solids-laden, or particle-laden liquids can be pumped dependably, without blockages and with minimal wear. Depending on the pump and impeller design, the free passages can be up to 90% of the discharge outlet nominal diameter—a decisive advantage when pumping media loaded with solid particles.

The selection of seals and materials is identical to our established CNP series of chemical standard pumps. Furthermore, the robust bearings of the CSP series are identical to those of the CNP series, ensuring high operational reliability. The use of standard parts allows for easy replacement of spare parts, significantly reducing storage and maintenance costs.

Existing systems with a standard chemical pump can be easily upgraded to the CSP series chemical wastewater pump without complex modifications, thanks to ISO 2858-compliant connection dimensions. This upgrade allows safe operation with abrasive and solids-laden media and provides a significantly longer service life compared to conventional standard chemical pumps.

Chemical slurry pump - Series CSP

Chemical standard pumps - Series CNP

Chemical standard pumps in the CNP series are single-stage, normal-priming centrifugal pumps that have been developed for use in the chemical and petrochemical industries. The pumps are characterized by standardized dimensions and hydraulic performance, based on ISO 2858. This is supplemented by smaller and larger sizes. Our series covers the full range, from simple basic variants to ISO 5199 variants and API 610-OH1 versions. The possible scope of supply ranges from individual pumps with free shaft ends to fully developed, highly integrated complete systems.

Fields of applications:

Chemical standard pumps are primarily used to pump various liquids in the chemical industry. Due to the variety of available materials, they can also handle aggressive or abrasive liquids. These pumps can handle acids, alkalis, and slightly viscous substances. Our clients currently use chemical standard pumps in the following areas:

  • Conveying of process liquids

  • Hydrogen production

  • Chemical recycling of plastic waste

  • Industry and plant engineering

  • Circulation of liquids

  • Refinery and offshore applications

Operating data:

Flow: Q up to 1500 m³/h

Head: H up to 160 m

Motor power: P from 0,37 kw to 355 kW

Medium temperatures: from -20 °C to 350 °C

Casing design pressure: from 16 bar to 250 bar

Sump pumps - Series ETP

Sump pumps of series ETP are single or multistage, normal priming, centrifugal pumps for vertical installation. These pumps are available according to API 610 - VS1, VS4 or VS6 as well. For systems with longer mounting depth, we can equip the VS1 pumps with a submersible motor.

Fields of application

Main field of application for these sump pumps is conveying clean liquids from pits and tanks. The double casing pumps, version VS6, are available for systems with low NPSH. Due to the different materials available, conveying of various aggressive liquids in the chemical industry and oil and gas applications are possible. For application with media polluted by particles, we can equip our VS 4 pumps with impellers from our sewage water series (channel type or vortex impellers).

Our customers use the sump pumps currently for following applications:

  • Drainage of tanks and reservoirs

  • Conveying of liquids in industrial plants

  • Water treatment

  • Offshore systems and refinery

Operating data:

Flow: Q up to 360 m³/h (higher flow rates on request)

Head: H up to 320 m (higher total head on request)

Motor power: P from 1,5 kW to 110 kW

Inline pumps - Series INP

Centrifugal pumps series INP are single stage, normal priming pumps with side nozzles at the same level for direct mounting into pipework. The pumps are available according to API 610 - OH3, OH4 or OH5 as well. The casing design pressure is, depending on seal selection, for system pressures up to 40 bar. Some versions are additionally available with suction connection rotated 90° left or right from discharge side.

Fields of application

Main field of application of our inline pumps is conveying clean liquids. These pumps are available with inducer, as an option, to allow low system NPSH values. Due to the different materials available, conveying of various aggressive liquids in the chemical industry and oil and gas applications is possible. Our customers currently use our inline pumps for the following applications:

  • Circulation of liquids in open and closed circuits

  • Conveying of clean liquids

  • Water treatment

  • Offshore systems and refinery

  • Reverse osmoses systems

Operating data

Flow: Q up to 380 m³/h

Total head: H up to 100 m

Motor power: P from 1,1 kW to 110 kW

Multi stage pumps - Series SKP

Multi stage centrifugal pumps series SKP are single or multi stage centrifugal pumps in horizontal or vertical construction. With this series the required pressure increase can be varied brightly, according to the mutable number of stages. Some of the pumps are constructed for system pressures up to 250 bar, depending on the material combination. SKP-pumps are as well available in accordance with API 610 - BB4 or BB5. Balancing of axial thrust is enabled by balancing holes in the impellers for the standard versions. Double casing version for higher pressure will have a back to back arrangement of the impellers to equalize the axial thrust.

Fields of application

Main field of application for multi stage centrifugal pumps series SKP is the increase of pressure in plant construction, as well as process technology. These pumps are suitable for most application scenarios, due to the eligibility of use in high system pressures as well as the different material combinations possible. Our customers currently use our SKP-pumps in the following applications:

  • Booster systems

  • Plant construction

  • Industry

  • Process technology

  • Reverse osmoses

Operating Data

Flow: Q up to 470 m³/h

Total head: H up to 580 m (higher head is available on request)
