Metal filters and fabricated parts
The material, shape and functions are closely interrelated in filters and fabricated parts made from woven metal wire. Haver & Boecker conceptualises, designs and produces metal wire cloth made of steel, stainless steel alloys, and special materials such as titanium or Hastelloy as well as non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, brass, copper or nickel.
The wire weaving company fulfils customer requirements for end-products by offering a wide selection of proven products, or developing bespoke solutions for new applications and developments. Whether as single or multiple layer, or as pleated design with or without edge bordering – the respective application at the customer is significant for the execution of sections and round parts, deep drawn parts, edged parts, pressed articles, coned and tapered parts, cylinders and filter cartridges, packing or hybrid products. MINIMESH® S Metal Filter Cloth
In various water treatment systems where particles as small as 5 µm need to be filtered out precisely and cost-effectively, the use of a MINIMESH® S plain weave as a filter layer has proven highly effective.
The dirt-holding capacity and flow performance of MINIMESH® S filter mesh remain significantly longer than with conventional filter media. It is less prone to clogging and can be cleaned easily. This results in consistently precise filtration, extended service life, longer operating cycles for filter elements, and ultimately a reduction in operating and overall costs compared to other filter media.
The filter mesh can be optimally designed in advance to meet the specific requirements of each user and manufactured to fit the respective system design — without the need for time-consuming and costly preliminary testing. With improved separation accuracy, and reliable downstream processing, it meets the highest standards in industrial filtration—tested with glass beads and certified.
